One of Swiss Prime Site’s strengths is its ability to develop its own projects and bring them to market. This enables us to operate with a high degree of autonomy from market cycles while actively influencing the level of sustainability within the portfolio at the same time. Development projects are based on the strategic targets of boosting organic growth, increasing profitability and renewing the portfolio through sustainable building materials and structures.
We focus our developments on central locations and accessibility in the regions of Zurich, Basel, Bern and Geneva.
The construction projects have an investment volume (including land portions) of around CHF 1 billion. With a volume of over CHF 300 million, the largest single project is Alto Pont-Rouge in Lancy. The developments under construction exhibit a net yield that exceeds the current portfolio average. Projects with an estimated investment volume (including land portions) of over CHF 700 million are currently in the planning phase.
