Dreispitz-Mitte

A new university neighbourhood is to be built on the Dreispitz. This is the aim of Swiss Prime Site, the Christoph Merian Foundation, the cantons of Basel-Landschaft and Basel-Stadt, the municipality of Münchenstein and the University of Basel. A sustainable, attractive and lively neighbourhood with high-quality and climate-relevant outdoor and green spaces is to be developed at the same time as the university. Together with the FHNW School of Art and Design and the planned FHNW School of Business, the new university site will form an actual educational cluster on the Dreispitz.
