YOND

YOND is a contemporary answer to our future working world and stands for simplicity and functionality. YOND makes flexibility a principle and offers its tenants the unique opportunity to design workspaces three-dimensionally, as the 5½ metre high rooms can be designed horizontally and vertically. By 2027, new modular and dynamic urban commercial spaces with a campus character will be created on the Albis site. Sustainability at YOND

At the end of 2022, YOND was certified with BREEAM In-Use. BREEAM certification (Building Research Establishment Environmental Assessment Method) is a method for assessing sustainability. It is used to certify projects, infrastructures and buildings. Launched in 1990 by the Building Research Establishment (BRE), it sets standards for the environmental characteristics of buildings through the design, specification, construction and operation phases. YOND also has a photovoltaic system that produces an average of 182 000 kWh of electricity per year. With the produced electricity, one could supply approx. 23 4-person households with electricity or cover approx. 6 million kilometers with a Segway.

Yard shop concept Rüedu

Since June 2022, the Rüedu yard shop concept has been located on the YOND site. The 18 m2 wooden container offers a wide range of fresh and, above all, regional food, which is sourced directly from producers.
