YOND is a contemporary answer to our future working world and stands for simplicity and functionality. YOND makes flexibility a principle and offers its tenants the unique opportunity to design workspaces three-dimensionally, as the 5½ metre high rooms can be designed horizontally and vertically. The attractive tenant mix of agencies, service companies, creative and retail businesses and start-ups forms a dynamic ecosystem. Yond is always open to change.
By 2027, new modular and dynamic urban commercial spaces with a campus character will be created on the Albis site. In the heart of the up-and-coming Albisrieden neighbourhood, the YOND Campus is the perfect place to work for everyone: from start-ups and local manufacturing companies to established large companies.
Sustainability at YOND
At the end of 2022, YOND was certified with BREEAM In-Use. BREEAM certification (Building Research Establishment Environmental Assessment Method) is a method for assessing sustainability. It is used to certify projects, infrastructures and buildings. Launched in 1990 by the Building Research Establishment (BRE), it sets standards for the environmental characteristics of buildings through the design, specification, construction and operation phases. YOND also has a photovoltaic system that produces an average of 182 000 kWh of electricity per year. With the produced electricity, one could supply approx. 23 4-person households with electricity or cover approx. 6 million kilometers with a Segway.
