Minergie Label in der Schönburg

Minergie has been a Swiss building standard for new and modernized buildings since 1998. The focus is on comfort, efficiency and value retention. Comfort is made possible by a high-quality building envelope and systematic air renewal, above-average heat protection and comprehensive quality assurance. Minergie buildings are also characterized by very low energy requirements and a maximum share of renewable energy.

Two Awards for the Schönburg

In 2020, Schönburg received the "best architects" award in the residential/multi-family housing category and an ICONIC AWARD for visionary, innovative and sustainable architecture.

One of the first BIM conversion projects

The Schönburg is one of the first conversion projects to be consistently planned as a BIM project. BIM stands for "Building Information Modeling" and is a method in which the entire building is first created as a highly complex 3-D model. From this, all plans are derived - whether for the masons, the electricians or the plumbers. This practice has been common practice for new buildings for some time, but is still uncharted territory for renovations. With BIM, the design phase is extended, but there are far fewer complications during implementation.
