Alto is SNBS 2.0 (Swiss Sustainable Building Standard) certified. SNBS is an initiative of the Swiss Federal Office of Energy (SFOE) and part of the Federal Council's strategy for sustainable development. This certification is awarded by the Minergie association and assesses a building's contribution to sustainable development. The label was awarded following a complex, multi-stage process involving all project participants. It represents a unique guarantee of quality for this sustainable, innovative and exclusive building. Alto was also designed to be energy-efficient and has a heating and cooling system based on geothermal energy. In combination with high-quality insulation, this system makes the building particularly environmentally friendly thanks to its low carbon footprint. High standards of building materials, architectural integration and indoor air quality are further strengths of the property. Alto Pont-Rouge thus stands out as one of the most modern and efficient projects in the canton.
